AQUA PLANET ILSAN

 

If you have plan to visit a aquarium in Seoul, Please take a note this.

 

You may come up with Coex Aquarium or 63 Sea World if you consider to go to a aquarium in Seoul. But I`d like to say you pay more attention to here Aqua Planet Ilsan. Especially if you have children, I strongly recommend to go here. Because Aqua Planet ilsan is something different.

 

• Deep Blue Ocean

  It has a gigantic water tank called “Deep Blue Ocean” and it is 12meters long, 6 meters deep tank which shows vividly how the real underwater`s world is. I`ve never seen such a big water tank before. Can you imagine how long does it take to fill the tank with water? Answer is 1 week. More than 10,000 creatures and 30 species live in the water tank.

  The most eye-catching animal in Deep Blue Ocean is a pitted stingray which is 3 meters long.

 

• Full of various performances

  Unlike other aquariums, every single animal section has its own performances and the performances take place at least 3 times a day. It means you can see a performance at least once every 30 mins somewhere else. The most popular performances are “Synchronized Underwater Show” and “Feeding Show” at Deep Blue Ocean.

 

• Separate Special Jellyfish section

  You can see a wide variety of jellyfish species including sea nettles, glass jellyfish and Cassiopeas, better known as upside-down jellyfish, are lit up with blue lights.

  I spent more than 30 mins to see their gorgeous movement at jellyfish section.

  The remarkable spot is the tunnel water tank of jellyfish.

 

• Zoo

  Aqua Planet ilsan has not only aquarium but also indoor zoo including jaguars, ring-tailed lemurs, snakes, parrots and others.

 

• Children Focused

  It is not limited to just seeing but help children to more understand the importance of marine ecology through educational performances. And also they offer a lot of chance to touch, feel and feed animals to make kids experience unique activities.

 

 

 

ONE MOUNT Water & Snow Park

 

Enjoy all year around summer and winter!

One Mount is the only one which has both water park and snow park in Korea. 
It offers all year around both indoor and outdoor attractions. 
One mount was featured on Running Man popular Korean TV show Episode#253.

 

The facility of One Mount water park includes Sauna, 18 pools, nine slides, rides and indoor beach with waves. The reason why it is especially popular for kids is that it has kids playground with water, regular pools, fun pools and pools by age like toddler pool, youth pool. of course most of the pools are not too deep So those facilities are good enough to keep the children entertained. 

 

One Mount snow park is the largest snow park in Korea. Not only summer time but all season you can enjoy winter full of winter activities. Because it keeps a wintry temperature throughout the year. You have to dress warm even if you go there in summer. It offers sled riding(dog sled drawn by husky and regular sled) which is the highlight of the snow park, ice and snow slide, theme village like Santa village and ice caves.
